Service and written agreement
WeldonPC operates Interns.news. These terms govern use of the platform. An institution’s signed service/data agreement and accepted written quote control its agreed scope, fees, term, support arrangements, data handling and any conflicting commercial provisions. Use is subject to applicable law; this page does not select an unrelated state or court venue.
Accounts and responsibilities
Institutions appoint authorized administrators and control their program, staff and student participation. Employers are responsible for accurate host information, appropriate supervision and the obligations they accept with each institution. Students must submit accurate work, hours and evaluations. Each person must use their own account, protect credentials and report unauthorized access.
Student enrollment is invitation-led for institution-managed participants aged 13 and older. The responsible institution must establish its authority and required permissions before providing student records. Users must not upload records they are unauthorized to share, circumvent permissions, misuse student information, or use the service for unlawful conduct.
Pricing, purchase orders and pilot access
Institution pricing, service dates, limits and payment arrangements are confirmed in an owner-approved written quote or agreement. A purchase order is not proof of payment. Check or ACH receipts are recorded after funds are actually received. Any pilot, comp or early PO-credit access has explicit dates and approval; it does not automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Students and employers have no separate Interns.news subscription fee. An institution may have its own separate program or host arrangements. There is no generally available free institutional Starter plan. Renewals, changes, cancellations and any refunds follow the accepted institutional terms. We do not charge a customer merely because someone requests a demo or quote.
Program decisions and communications
Institution staff approve program requirements, placement eligibility, evidence, agreements and applicable terms. The platform supports those decisions; it is not a school, staffing agency, payroll processor, background-check provider or guarantee of an internship outcome. Program and inquiry emails are prepared for staff review before sending. Authentication and account-security messages may be sent automatically.
Your records and our software
Institutions and participants retain their rights in the records they provide. They authorize us to store, process and display those records to deliver the agreed service. Platform software, design and branding remain the property of WeldonPC or their respective licensors. Student information must not be used for unrelated advertising or marketing.
Access expiry, exit and data requests
When institutional access expires, authorized users retain the viewing/export access described in their service arrangement while changes can be restricted. Contact support@interns.news for account closure, a complete data return or membership changes. The account screen does not perform institutional deletion.
Retention, export deadlines, deletion, backup expiry and legal holds must be agreed in the institution’s data arrangement. Support verifies the requester and records the action taken. There is no automatic universal deletion deadline or destructive purge on subscription expiry.

Support is initially handled during normal business hours in America/New_York; a different response commitment must be agreed in writing.
We maintain operational checks and backups, but uninterrupted availability and specific recovery times are not guaranteed by this page. We may restrict access to address abuse, security or overdue commercial obligations, subject to the institution’s agreement. The platform is not an emergency communication service.
Changes and contact
Material changes and renewal terms are handled under the applicable written institution agreement. This page is versioned and dated. Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@interns.news or through the contact form. Requesting information does not sign an institution contract.
